BCRP IntranetLITE has been developed so that all Crime Reduction Partnerships, even the smallest, can benefit from the key functions of BCRP Intranet.

BCRP IntranetLITE includes the three key functions which make BCRP Intranet so useful to Crime Reduction Partnerships: a secure, efficient means of handling Mugshots and other personal data; an easy and quick means of Incident Reporting for Members; an automated, effective communications system between Administrators and Members.

And BCRP IntranetLITE is priced at an exceptionally low level to enable any Partnership, working within the tightest budget, to implement it - and benefit from it right now.

Management of Mugshots . BCRP IntranetLITE automates the management of Mugshots to comply with local information-sharing agreements and the Data Protection Act so Administrators can efficiently distribute and control any number of Mugshots to any number of Members. Members can immediately access the latest, relevant and always-up-to-date Galleries of Mugshots, designed to be printed out either in the workplace or on a home computer. With BCRP IntranetLITE Administrators can publish Mugshots and personal data to Members without the need to secure signatures to confirm delivery and return of the materials. And expired Mugshots are automatically deleted from the intranet. Even where Members continue to require printed Mugshots, BCRP IntranetLITE enables the Administrator easily to print-out paper-based Galleries direct from the system. This relieves Administrators of the time-consuming task of 'pasting-up' and copying Galleries of Mugshots which are subject to frequent revisions.

Incident Reports . Paper-based Incident Reporting systems are inefficient and lead to under-reporting. Making an Incident Report with BCRP IntranetLITE takes a fraction of the time it takes to report an incident using paper-based procedures. Incident Reports are made and sent online, so delivery is almost immediate, intelligence can be utilised more quickly - and at zero cost to the Member. CCTV or other images can be 'attached' to Incident Reports. With BCRP IntranetLITE Incident Reporting is simple and less laborious, so Members report incidents more frequently. And BCRP IntranetLITE enables the Administrator to quickly review incoming Incident Reports, add them, where appropriate to the Intranet and, if appropriate, pass the intelligence on to police.

Regular, effective communication. Members are busy people who can't be expected to visit the Intranet regularly simply to see if anything relevant has been added since their last visit. So BCRP IntranetLITE comes complete with a powerful 'eNewsletter' function which automatically sends eNewsletters to all Members so they are always up-to-date about latest developments such as police Alerts, crime news, upcoming events and, of course, new Mugshots. In this way Members are drawn to the Intranet, time and time again. The eNewsletters sent from BCRP IntranetLITE are entirely automatically created and distributed - no administration is required.

What BCRP IntranetLITE does not include.... BCRP IntranetLITE includes less customisation than the full BCRP Intranet product, but includes logos, titles etc. BCRP IntranetLITE includes only one 'Author' account - usually the Administrator - although multiple 'Authors' can add and edit content using the Administrator's account. BCRP IntranetLITE does not include the document management and monitoring functions available through BCRP Intranet itself. BCRP Intranet LITE does not include the Incident Monitoring features or Offenders, Incidents, Reporters of Benchmarks database reports; BCRP IntranetLITE comes with a half-day on-line training session (the full version BCRP Intranet includes a half-day face-to-face training session at the client's premises). BCRP IntranetLITE includes 24-hour email support for clients; BCRP Intranet features immediate telephone helpline access.

How much does BCRP IntranetLITE cost?. BCRP IntranetLITE is priced at the lowest possible level in order to enable as many Crime Reduction Partnerships to benefit from its features. The cost of system implementation is £500 (a once-off charge) and £50 per month licence (to cover on-going support, maintenance and hosting) for a single-scheme implementations (for example, Shopwatch, or Pubwatch). The cost of system implementation for a dual-scheme version (covering both day-time and night-time schemes, for example) is £650 (a once-off charge) and £50 per month licence.
